In November 2015, Friends of Humanity and Bazeecha Welfare Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on humanitarian relief for victims of the devastating October 2015 earthquake in Pakistan.
The MOU established a partnership grounded in shared values and a mutual commitment to addressing urgent needs. It acknowledged Bazeecha’s critical role in delivering food, medical supplies, and shelter to affected communities. Under the agreement, Friends of Humanity committed to providing discretionary financial support through grants, offered purely out of humanitarian concern, with no legal obligation.
These grants enabled Bazeecha Welfare Foundation to expand its relief efforts, reaching more communities with essential aid. The partnership embodied the spirit of solidarity, combining resources and expertise to bring meaningful support to those most vulnerable. This MOU marked the start of a compassionate collaboration, reflecting Friends of Humanity’s commitment to humanitarian action and the power of unity in rebuilding lives and communities after disaster.
